Interview with Janomilka..

This is the interview with our second new writer. Her name is Janomilka.., she's 19 and she's from Czech Republic. She's got wonderful style and creativity, she's won our blog's contests before. You've probably noticed she's also got a killer suite so be sure to take a look.
LinkIf you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I would like to know how to fly. I'd fly with the birds and feel the freedom all over my body. And then I would like to be invisible so I could come to every concert or festival for free.

What is your favorite band?
I haven't just one favorite band. My favorite ones are Hammerfall, Manowar and Edguy These are the best heavy-metal bands for me.

Who is your favorite designer?
Frankly, I do not have a favorite designer. Even if I had one, I probably could not afford his proposals. However, I admire nearly all the designers, they are so creative and have an endless imagination. But it is true that I am intrigued by dresses by Blanka Matragi. Her clothes are full of color, hope and magic.

Do you dress similarly in real life and on Stardoll?
My life is completely devoted to music, which means that I dress according to what I'm listening to. So yes, in real life I wear a lot like what I do on Stardoll. That means black, crimsom, black and black clothes. I like to go out into the streets dressed in black, with steel on the feet and chains hanging on my body. I don't care what people think about me. I am what I am.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I would go to the end of the world.

Are you religious?
No, I'm not. Although I believe in myself. In my opinion, a belief in yourself is the most fundamental belief which a person can have. And it is also teh only faith that can fulfill our wishes. I don't believe in any god and I don't live according to written rules.

What is the meaning of life?
Each person creates their own meaning of life. But life in general has no meaning. What would it be? Destroy everything you can? Kill each other? Killing animals just because I'd want to? Destroy the entire fauna and flora? This is not the meaning, that's bullshit. (Of course I'm talking about people.)

What is your favorite paranormal creature?
Zombies, vampires and witches. Zombies don't know what they do, they just go for the smell of people - food. It's a really scary situation. Witches.. I don't care what a witch is, if a pointy hat and a black cat on her shoulder or she has superpowers. They are all able to do things that remain a mistery. And vampires.. live forever, sleep in a coffin, only to walk at night, be fast, drink blood with whiskey.. hell, who would not want to live like this?

If you could go out for dinner with anyone, who would it be and why?
I'd go to dinner with the first man in the world. I'd tell him he has no idea what he will do to earth (extinction of several species of animals, destroying the earth etc.) and that he is not human, he is just another kind of animal. So he should behave accordingly because he is less than the weeds.

Anything else you'd like to tell our leader?
I love this blog and I'm delighted that I got the opportunity to be part of it. I hope you will enjoy my posts. I have respect for every follower and guest on this blog. Have a fucking awesome life and metal with you!

Interview with RoyalRuby7395

This is the interview with our first new writer, RoyalRuby7395. She's a very kind 16 year old girl from Kentucky, USA. She's been on Stardoll since 2008. She's got a bunch of cool clothes and a very creative style that has been featured in this blog a few times before. She was also a winner of our competitions twice if I remember correctly.

Do you dress similarly in real life and on Stardoll?
Sometimes. My more elaborate outfits on Stardoll... obviously not, haha. I also do not wear skirts or tights, although I would like to. I mostly just wear jeans, band T-shirts and black Chucks. Sometimes I dress up in real life and wear 'darker' clothing, like some of the less elaborate outfits I make on Stardoll. The makeup on my doll, however, most days I wear in real life.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I'm not entirely sure. I have thought about it before and have narrowed it down to two: mind reading or shape-shifter.

Who is your favorite designer?
I don't follow fashion much, but from what I have seen of Alexander McQueen, I like. I like that he has a different style of 'fashion' than other designers. His stuff is more unique and therefore attracts my attention.

What is your favorite band?
Most definitely Judas Priest. They have always been and will forever be my favorite band. I can count on one hand the songs of theirs I do not love. When I listen to them I feel whole, however dramatic that sounds. I have seen them live once, in 2009, and will see them live again next week!!

If you could go out for dinner with anyone, who would it be and why?
Even though she is dead, Elizabeth I of England. I would like to know how she thought, how she felt about being a woman in her time period and unmarried and with so much power. Plus she interests me so much. She was a very fascinating person.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
England, without a doubt. I'm obsessed with medieval England. I would be visiting all of the ruins, touring the famous cathedrals and palaces. Especially the Tower of London. Of everything in England, I would like to see the spot where Anne Boleyn grew up, where she was beheaded, and her grave.

Are you religious?
Not at all. I am an I don't believe in anything at all. Religion interests me, though, and I want to study it in college.

What is the meaning of life?
I'm still debating this with myself, but I currently believe there is no meaning to life. We are just animals on this earth, moving through a never-ending cycle. We are insignificant in this universe and will affect nothing at all, ultimately. All in all, I think there is no meaning to life other than just living.

Do you usually speak up or are you more in the back?
Some of both. It depends on the situation. When I am discussing something I feel passionate about, I am outspoken. But just generally, I keep to myself unless I am with friends.

What is your favorite paranormal creature?
There are lots that I like, but I'm not sure if they would be considered 'paranormal.' For a strictly paranormal creature, I suppose the traditional vampyre and what it was like, even before Bram Stoker published his 'Dracula.' The vampyre has a fascinating history in different cultures, I think.

Anything else you'd like to tell our readers?
Just that I'll try to do my best, and that I will very much enjoy writing for this blog and hopefully conversing with its followers. :]

MissVampire interview

This is the last writer interview with me, MissVampire. Here's the basics; I've been on Stardoll for 5 years now and writing for our blog for one and a half. I'm 18, bisexual and a huge metal lover. Now off to the interview.

What's your bad habits that you want to stop? - asimeniana
I think my biggest bad habit is that I'm too lazy. I know it's usually a good thing to live in the now and not think about the future too much, but I'm slacking off when I should be studying and spending time with friends when I should be doing something else.

Who is your favorite designer? - XxladyXxgaga
Alexander McQueen. I didn't even like fashion before him, he totally changed the way I look at it. For me, he's the "non-mainstream" part of fashion.

If you could have a super power, what would it be and why? - XxladyXxgaga
I would love to read minds. I find people's minds and their ideas so fascinating. Some of them are sick though and some are so nice, you can never know what's under the surface. I'd also love to see what they really think of me. They wouldn't be able to lie to me then, how cool is that?

What time period in history most interests you? - RoyalRuby7395
I'm interested in the middle ages. I wouldn't live there, but I'm interested because of how the Church got so much power, how horrible their hygiene was, how they believed in witches, which torture devices they used, how they talked, how living in castles was, the inventions back then etc. I'm very interested in Vikings too.

If you could change anything in the world, what would you change? - misslolapink10
That's easy. I would erase all religions. I would stop people from believing in god(s) and make them think on their own. It's the only thing that I'm not open-minded about and think it's totally ridiculous.

What is your favorite place in the world and why? - Juliette
I've been to 9 countries so far, but I've never visited my favorite one, Finland. Why Finland? They have more than 185 thousand lakes with more than 175 islands on them, it's 75% covered with forests (talk about beautiful landscapes), the people are so nice, they have great music, there's so much snow, there's the northern lights, the polar nights and so much more. I feel like a Finland commercial now :P

What is your favorite band? - Juliette
Ensiferum, definitely. They've been my favorite band ever since I started listening to metal, which is 5 years ago or so. I think they'll stay my favorite, too. *loyalty* It pisses me off how some people e.g. claim Slipknot are their favorite band one day and Hannah Montana the next.

What's your biggest fear and why? - JanyRichter6
My biggest is the fear of drowning. I don't know why, but running out of air sounds like the worst way to go.

If you could go out for dinner with anyone, who would it be and why? - dood0609
I know this is gonna sound cheesy, but I'd choose my boyfriend. We've never actually been out for a real dinner so I think it would be nice.

Do you dress similarly in real life and on Stardoll? - Serendibite
There are definitely similarities. I love wearing super short shorts/skirts. I wear fishnets, too and I almost never wear long sleeves. I always wear at least one black piece combined with another color. I also use spiked bracelets, belts etc. as accessories + I have a tongue, belly button and 17 ear piercings. As for differences, I never wear knee-high boots, dresses or dye my hair. I like band shirts, too. To give you guys an example, here's a photo of me (on the right) and my friends wearing my clothes (the shoes aren't mine):

What is your favorite quotation? - Rubyluvv269
"Life is like taking a crap. It can take a long time or it can be short, it can be painful or it can feel good, but either way it gets flushed away in a moment in the end."

I know these photos suck, but I didn't know which ones to put up:

Interview with black_mermaid

Here I am with my interview, confessing all my sins. (I suck at introductions.)

Who is your inspiration in life? – abashwans139
I am one of those people who don’t
have one specific idol because I think that looking up for someone too much can be fatal (quoting Kurt Cobain – “Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are”), so I prefer liking some people and taking examples from certain things they do (like someone has said, life is not for finding yourself, it is for creating yourself). My biggest inspiration is John Irving, an American novelist; I am fascinated by his subtle sense for sarcasm (not everyone gets that), not like MD Gregory House’s (sometimes I think that I will grow up to be like him – hated by everyone and alone (not really bothered about it though – I guess we’re both so full of ourselves that other people aren’t necessary), though not having any trace of talent and not affecting anyone’s lives). I am also inspired by Frank Iero (having this much energy and being crazy, that’s how a real musician should be; like Gerard Way said about him, “Everybody brings their own kind of heart to the band, he brought this reckless kind of passion that I really think expressed our music") and Charles Bukowski (another writer, and poet as well), who is an example that going to school and having a well-paid job doesn’t mean everything in life.

In which era would you wa
nt to live? – LilaFlo
Since I started reading Jack Londo
n, I have been in love with the Gold Rush (I’ve liked it before but I didn’t know much about it then), so I would love to have been born about 20 years before it started. I would have kicked a lot of guys’ asses :) only because of my stubbornness (which adds up to my constant belief that I am always right). I would have loved to travel long hard ways (I’ve just finished another J.London’s book in which a man only survives because his mind is strong, although the body is nearly dead) and everything (though I acknowledge I do not know how it all was – nobody knows how difficult it is to travel across mountains in winter, live when you don’t know whether you will see another day, or being in a war, for some, and such), and, most of all, Alaska itself, because it seems different from the rest of the USA, unless it was then, because I don’t like the idea of living in the USA.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be? – flossy101girl
After watching “Jumper” I started wishing I was one too. Also, it was so impressive I can’t really think of any other superpower which I could use (who needs invisible or elastic girls, they’re old fashioned and useless, and boring). B
eing a Jumper would be amazing, especially with Paladins and stuff.

Do you dress similarly in real life and on Stardoll, e.g. if you consider yourself Goth on Stardoll, are you Goth in real life? – Serendibite
Just to be clear: I don’t consider myself belonging to any of the styles, and being, for example, a Goth, is not about dressing in a certain way.
Since on Stardoll I have much more clothes than in real life, certainly I can dress myself more freely and with more imagination, but sometimes I dress my doll in a way I would look on a casual day in reality (like this, for example):

But there are only a few things in my Stardoll closet I would never, under any circumstances, wear in real life.

When did you start to like alternative styles? – Serendibite

It all started with Stardoll :) A lot of people I liked there liked Green Day, so I thought I’d give it a try (I was fascinated by their name – green has been my favorite colour for several years now), and with them came a whole new world. I think it was in the beginning of 2007.

What are your bad habits that you wanna stop
? – asimeniana
I used to bite my nails since I have had my first tooth, and I am proud to say
I don’t do this anymore (a bit like smoking – if you don’t have the will, nothing else will help you, like awful-tasted polish), but I still have the habit to have my nails in my mouth and here comes the polish-eating. I have to repolish them every three days, because the nail polish which lasted the longest on my nails stayed there for four days.

Which character (from a movie, book, cartoon, etc.) is your alter ego and why? – undeanpinup
Since I read a lot of books, I find a lot of characters that are more or less like me in some ways, but I was simply astonished by Jonathan from “Doing it” (by Melvin Burgess), because he is an exact reflection of myself (except for a few things, like being a guy, and a few smaller, but I have never been a guy, so maybe I would have done them anyway). He talks like me, his jokes are similar to those I make (e.g. “My face looked like shitpaper, as Jonathan was very kind to notice”), and even one of his biggest fears is exactly like mine.

(Please notice: I have only read the book translated into Li
thuanian and I do not know whether this sentence from the book I wrote is the same as in the original, but I think you got the idea.)

If you could go out for dinner with anyone, who would it be and why? – unknown
I’d choose John Irving, my fav
orite author. I have some questions for him I’m burning to ask. (e.g. “Why BEARS?” You won’t understand this one unless you have read at least a few of his books.)
I’d also like to have dinner with Jamie Bell, my fav
orite actor, maybe I would seduce him, haha :)

Which is your favorite painting and why? – jonas_16_17
I am not a fan of this kind of art, nor
do I know much about it, but I say “Scream”, not for the painting itself but for the story behind it. Its author was synesthesic, he imagined something on the bridge when he was walking there and then he painted it. (Excuse my poor knowledge of art.) Currently my favorite artworks are “Danger Days” cover photo by Frank Iero (with whom I would fancy the dinner too) and cover photo of “Last night in Twisted River” (last book by John Irving) by Everett Irving.

How do you free yourself from the restraints of everyday life? I.e. what is your escape? – Rogue182
Music, most often. I am a dreamy person, I mostly live in my
own world, music helps. I also like writing, so I imagine a lot of stuff and I write about most of it (I mean, the part which seems quite earthly, yet still sometimes hard to believe. My friends say I have a talent for that). Watching movies helps, too.

Interview with the writers

We've talked about interviews with the writers (us) in our Stardoll club. I thought it was about time for a new interview. Here's the deal: we can't interview each other, so we need you guys to help us. It would be great if each of you could post a question in the comments here or in the club's topic. 5 Stardollars or a gift for each question we pick (so don't forget to sign your Stardoll username).
The first one to be interviewed will be AmyBillieGee. She'll pick 10 questions, answer them and add a photo of herself. We (PinkPunkGirly, black_mermaid and MissVampire) will do the same afterwards. If you have a question for a specific writer, just write that in the comment too. Be sure to pick interesting questions (:

Interview with Angel_of_HIM

Angel_of_HIM is known all over Stardoll. She's friendly, she has an amazing suite with all 14 rooms decorated - and I'm talking about gorgeous decorations, not just freebies. She had a lot of time to decorate them too, she's been on Stardoll since 2006. She owns loads of rares and she has amazing style. What I like most is her presentation, which really presents her.

Do you like Harry Potter?
Yes ! It's a story & world I'm fascinated by since I started reading the first book.

What is the meaning of life?
I don't know. I know the path I want to go and what I want to accomplish. Everybody else has to find what they think is their goal in life. And I believe that we are made or sent here by someone or something.. what they intended us to do here.. we'll find out someday.. ;]

What is your favorite paranormal creature?
Definitely Ghosts. There is nothing else that scares and fascinates me so much at the same time.
I'm a true believer of paranormal and extraterrestrial. 'The Truth Is Out There' -__^

Have you ever had an imaginary friend?
Nop.

Do you drink Coffee?
I'm not a fan of the classic coffee-milk-sugar thing. If I have coffee it's only when I'm out and there is a coffeeshop where I can get fancy coffee like a 'Vanilla Latte' or 'Dark Moccacino'.

What was your first favorite band or singer?
I don't even really remember. When I first got into music I was really young and never had a favorite.

How would you describe yourself in 1 word?
Can't. You need waaaay more than one word to describe me xD

Do you like your country?
I love Austria. It just has the right amount of modernness and tradition.

What do you do when you are bored?
Stardoll.. When that bores me I watch YouTube shows like 'Autopsy – Mysterious murders' and 'Medical Detectives'. I have a weird passion for shows about crime and murder..
If then internet also starts to bore me I start to clean O.o

Anything else you'd like to tell our readers?
Be yourself. :] May sound cheesy but that's how I live my life.

Fabolous, right? Now here's a photo of her:

Don't forget to click and feed her guestbook!

Interview with Ruth-Sechmet

Ruth-Sechmet is a very popular and well-known Stardollian that we interviewed this time. She is a great designer so check out her bazaar and purchase yourself a painting. Her MeDoll and suite are just magnificent, she owns gazillions of awesome pieces of clothing, and she's very nice and kind - so there is no surprise that she has been Covergirl.

What is the first thing you notice in the opposite sex?
If he catches me eye, by anything, it is the way of being. The expression, what his eyes say, the way of acting. It might sound complicated, but it's just classifying as a positive or negative character. Though, I don't care if it's one or another, both are interesting.

Do you like mangos?
I don't like exotic fruits. I don't like fruits much at all. But I love watermelons.

If you could wipe one singer off the face of earth, who would it be?
How much would it change, after one bad singer comes another, more or less irritating? But I would delete my classmate Michael. He sings a lot during practical lessons which turns me insane. It looks like he has an orphan disease...

What is the meaning of life?
Life's meaningless, at least to me. It's just about what you're going to do with yours. I think that I'm here for others. As long as I have someone who needs me, I'm going on. Obvious, it's so close, but often hard to see. There's no need to look around for a great definition, who needs it?

Have you ever had an imaginary friend?
No, but my sisters and my best friend had a period when they had a lot of them, and they were treating them like real people. That was confusing, especially to strangers in public places. We had one story about an imaginary boy, everyone around thought he's real. At the end, we said he committed suicide. It was hard to keep it believable.

Which is the word you use the most?
"Probably" and "Maybe". I haven't noticed it by myself, my sister's saying I use them a lot. She might be right.

What is your favorite age you've been so far?
I like being the age I am now, or I was a year ago I should say. I'll be 18 years old soon in March, it scares me a bit. But every new thing is scary, right? My childhood is coming to its end. Maybe I can't show the child I am on the outside, but I want to keep it inside as long as I can.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I haven't thought about it. I would like to see the northern lights. So, anywhere where I could see them.

What is beauty?
I'm not sure. Each person sees it differently. It's something you can find everywhere, in everything, more or less outspreaded, in different amounts and forms. It's hard to understand it. It's not a perfect make up and big words, but a right dose of imperfection. Beauty can't be obvious and visible.

Anything else you'd like to tell our readers?
Be where you are, with your body and mind. Thinking about moon while being on the earth won't make you standing on both, enjoy your location the best you can :3

And of course the photo of this gorgeous girl:

I've gotta say, I'm loving the dress-up. Now check out her suite, leave her a comment and give her 5 stars for her amazingness.

Interview with Imagica

We have decided to go with the interview idea and make some posts with interviews with some famous dark users. It will be a bit different though. The questions will not be connected to Stardoll in any way and we will show you the person behind the MeDoll (meaning her photo) aswell. Here we go.

Imagica is a very popular dark Stardollian. I'm sure alot of you know her for her designs, her unique style or just her kind personality. Her MeDoll always looks great and her closet is filled with amazing clothes. That's why we decided to interview her.

What is your favorite piece of clothing or accessory?
Well it depends. When I am at home I like to wear hoodies and leggings. When I am going somewhere or on special occasions I like to wear dresses and skirts. I like to wear bows in my hair.

Are you religious?
Yes, christian, and I do not like that people make such a big deal about it.

Do you have any fears/phobias?
I think my biggest fear is zombies. I think about it sometimes, if it will happen. What I will do, and how to try to stay alive. It really scares me.

Which was the first non-mainstream band you heard and liked?
Blutengel. I have listened to them for 7 years.

What is the meaning of life?
To make my family and my boyfriend happy. To enjoy life as much as I can as long as I am living.

How long do you need to get ready for school in the morning?
It takes about 15 minutes to put make-up on and fix my hair.

Do you usally speak up or are you more in the back?
I have always been in the back, and I will be it until I die. I am really shy, but only in public.

What is your favorite paranormal creature?
I think I have to say witches, beacuse they are mystical and I like their magical powers.

What is your idea of a perfect date?
Well, I do not think of that because I have my boyfriend and we have been together for 7 years. When we first met it was at my place. We where walking on a bridge on a beautiful lake. And of course, we were really shy. We were too emberassed to look into each other's eyes. When we came back, we went to my room, and then it happend, our first kiss. I feelt like our souls attached to each other. That was our perfect date. Love at first sight.

Anything else you'd like to tell our readers?
I want to say to everybody, just be yourself, do not care what other people say about you.

Here's a photo of this lovely girl, isn't she gorgeous?:

Click to magnify. And don't forget to check out her suite and leave her a guestbook comment!
