Finland-themed clothes

The Finnish independence day or itsenäisyyspäivä in Finnish (I dare you to pronounce that!) is on the 6th of December, so Stardoll again released some Finland-themed clothing. As a big fan of the country, I'm crazy about it so I found the real life versions for you. Click on each image to magnify it.

Spectrolite Necklace Inspired By Kalevala, 4$, non-superstar
Spectrolite is a mineral, found in Finland and Madagascar. It's often used in jewelry as its colors are magnificent. Kalevala is the epic poem of Finland and is probably the most known work in Finland. It talks about folklore and mythology, so you can see why it'd inspire this lovely necklace. By the way, it glows.

Sibelius Monument, 10$, non-superstar
This monument is found in the MiniShop. It was dedicated to a Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. You can find it in Helsinki and it's made of 600 steel pipes that represent Sibelius' music - which is classical.

Side Flap Skirt

Here's another piece me and Kelly (PinkPunkGirly) found. This one is called Side Flap Skirt. It's superstar and it costs 6$. You can find it in the Tingeling shop. I think it looks brilliant, maybe it's because of its asymmetry.

In real life, it's from Lanvin. Not liking the real life version much, the Stardoll one is better in my opinion.

Christmas on Stardoll

Christmas is coming and we already can see some changes on Stardoll. An example of that is the window on the Starplaza when you try some clothes out:

For the Christmas fans, you can also check the suite sale. There are a few ornaments inspired by this festive time:

You can also find a free Christmas tree on your suite (near the closet). I kinda like it since it's blue:

Sheer Draped Top

Today me and Maja (MissVampire) took some time at finding real life versions of some clothes we like and we found this top. It's called Sheer Draped Top, you can currently find it on the Fallen Angel store for 7$ and, unfortunately, it's Superstar. I really like the shape of it, and the transparent part makes the top very unique. Stardoll version:

Wondering about the real life version? Alexander Wang designed this fantastic top. Picture:

Other World

This store is driving me insane. I'm a huge fan of fantasy, and I feel like buying all the damn items (not really the clothes though). Today we have a new floor with the frozen theme. We also have a new interior (as usual). The prices range between 6$ and 14$ and it's everything superstar:

The interior costs 17$ and it's called Frozen Kingdom:

Inspired Looks #2

After some time, here's more 3 Inspired Looks for you. As it says on the title, the looks I made on my medoll are inspired by real life pictures I've found on internet so they don't look exactly like the real people. I've made the necessary changes for making the looks unique but still similar to the pictures. Here's what I made:

I'd appreciate comments or ideas for future looks.

The calendar

The Ho-ho-holiday calender (this is not my idea) is here. You should have been informed by a message:

And the calendar itself looks like this:

I think it's both ss and non-ss, because when you open the square it gives you this:
Todays's gifts are useless. I hope they will get better some time.

Goth Necklace

I figured an autopsy post hasn't been written in a while so I'd write one now. This is a choker that's part of the Inspired by Anarchy on Stardoll Fallen Angel collection. It's called Goth Necklace, it costs 5$ and thankfully it's not superstar. It gives the image of a vampire bite with dripping blood in the form of litte red crystals. It's one of my favorite Beauty Parlor pieces.

In real life it's from the wonderful Alchemy Gothic collection. It's made of velvet and contains actual Swarovski crystals. I wanted to buy it myself since it only costs about 20€, but I figured it wouldn't be very comfortable if the size wasn't propper.

(thanks to Angel_of_HIM for the tip)
