New Amy Claire

The new Amy Claire stuff is out, as we were all informed personally (or not. Nevermind. Now you know). The clothes are okay, in my opinion -- they're at least better than the last time. The new stuff is a bit more colorful :p (I mean the yellow dresses)
Clothes are considerably cheap as StarDoll stuff, but they're all superstar, even the boring grey ones. So, it's your chance to buy some more black/grey clothes (this time there's no white).
I'm considering about buying the one with the flower.

Philosophy out, new stores in

You probably received this:



Stardoll is removing most of the real brands. First they get rid of DKNY, then Vivienne Tam, and now Philosophy?
If you read the letter, it says "to make room for more new brands". I really hope they release a dark store, maybe something gothic or lolita style. According to the spoilers, a new Amy Claire store is coming, but there should be more. I really hope for something dark.

PHILOSOPHY sale

So, here's another sale, this time branded 'Philosophy' by Alberta Ferretti. Personally, I don't see anything I would like to buy here, but you can buy it for a twice less price and later try to sell it for bigger price :p Though this method never worked for me, because it seems that those *cough cough* fashionistas (I spelled it right, didn't I?) buy all this stuff before, and they don't feel like buying it later because it's not DKNY, LE or some other expensive brand. I wrote everything I thought and my mind is shallow now. Amen.

How to add yourself

You've probably noticed people that have themselves under best friends right? I'm sure some of you don't know this trick yet, so I'll show you how it's done.


1. In the "Find Friends" box write something random that can't be a nickname. That should bring you to the search page.


2. Here, search for your nickname.


3. Find your nickname in the list.


4. Add yourself.


5. Keep adding yourself until this appears. After that, you'll have yourself in your friends list.

Graphic Tribal Print Coat

It's not a properly dark piece of clothing but it still looks amazing in my opinion. Besides being truly rare to find (I've been looking for it for months) it's a very original item. Here's the stardoll version of the Graphic Tribal Print Coat:

Monster High dolls

After the Monster High freebie shrit, Stardoll released some dolls too. I guess Mattel and Stardoll are cooperaing well since this is the second campaign (remember the Barbie clothes?).
The dolls are hidden, so you'll have to click on each link to see them. I think they look really cute and the clothes are gorgeous too.

Metal Concentration

Unfortunately Stardoll only added a new piece of clothing to the new Metal Concentration. Most clothes were already in starplaza, however there's a new one, which I liked very much. The jacket you see below its for male dolls, but I dont care I'll wear it anyway. It totally represents Heavy Metal. Spiked Faux Leather Jacket:

Wonderful Contest

There's a Stardoll contest going on here. It ends on the 9th of May and to enter, you have to make a scenery.



The contest is interesting because:
1. You get a free dress if you enter.
2. The main prize is tickets to Wonder Girls, a shopping trip to LA and 500 dollars to spend with your personal stylist.
I don't know about you, but that sounds pretty awesome so I'll definitely enter.

Polish clothes

So, the new country-themed collection is out. This time it's Poland, as it's Constitution day in here on 3rd May. Here's the picture of Starplaza store:
In my opinion, the best (and only black) item is this SuperStar top:

All of you may know that Poland recently suffered a big tragedy, when their President and a lot of famous people died in a plane accident. Lithuania is in sorrow too, as Poland is strongly bonded with our history.

Brian Molko doll

It's been a long time since StarDoll made good doll, don't you agree? I don't mention the one the gave us for playing 'Play & Earn'; it was amazing. And now I represent you Brian Molko, all fresh and new:

He's a vocalist and songwriter in Placebo (to all you MTV victims - they won the best Alternative Band Award last year, yee-ha). A couple of years ago I was quite obsessed with them and I desperately tried to request his doll here, but it seems that only now StarDoll heard my prayers. When I get lucky, it goes like that all the way. Yay.

COMPETITION
